I got a new clique up. VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE MARY-MOMENT IN THE TOP TEN 12:42 AM [link] ----------------------------------------------------------- Monday, November 25, 2002 On Friday when I was waiting for my dad to come get me, I was looking out the window of the school and I saw this guy in a red vest holding roses walk up and knock on someone's door. I told my mom, "Hey, someone's getting flowers." cuz he looked like a flower-delivery guy, but there was no logo or anything on his car. About a minute or two later someone opened the door and the guy walks inside the house, this is when I decided that he WASN'T a delivery guy cuz he just waltzed right inside and then the person getting the flowers started hugging him. The door went shut for about five minutes and nothing moved in the house. Then, I saw a girl pull back the curtains and peek out. A few seconds later, the guy and the girl come outside and get into his car. They sit there for a while, I see them kiss a couple times, then nothing happens. After a minute of them still just sitting there, my dad pulls up, my mom and I get in, and we drive up to the stop sign and get ready to pull out onto 6th Ave. I look back. They haven't even started the car, they're still just sitting there. For about 10 whole minutes they just sat in that car. It was very strange. I kinda wondered why he gave her the flowers. Birthday? Family death? Apology? The hug came kinda quick for the flowers to be an apoligetic guesture. Go vote now! 7:22 PM [link] ----------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, November 23, 2002 Ok, new layout WITH updates! -check the Friends page -and the About Me page -new Mary-moments added! -new counter to match the layout -archive link up -should I put a poll up for voting on your favorite Mary-moment and then have a top ten list? -I think I'll go work on that now 9:15 PM [link] ----------------------------------------------------------- Tid-bit time: -I got Becka hooked on Phantom Planet, ha ha -She chose to call me from the mall to ask where she could buy something. Dork. -I haven't seen Brad since Wednesday...he has hockey games. =( -My dad picked my mom and I up from school and on the way home decided to tell the both of us what happened to him at lunch. The one "border" from next door came over and asked my dad if he'd seen the elderly man who lived there. No, we hadn't seen him, but his car was outside. The border proceeded to tell my father that the whole house was covered in blood and could he use our phone since the one in the other house was, again, covered with blood. So, my dad let the man use our phone to call 9-1-1 and then actually took my dad next door and showed him the house. Yes, my father confirmed, everything was covered in blood. Then, another man arrived and said that the elderly man fell and he was there to "clean up the blood" (more like return to the scene of the crime). Just then, the police arrived, and LOTS since the man told them about the blood. The second man then explained to them how the elderly man fell and that's what the blood was from and it was confirmed that he did in fact call 9-1-1 and told them that he fell and was at the hospital. My dad said that when the police looked at the house, they even wondered how the heck that much blood got there if he just "fell". Anyway, I almost started crying/passing out/flipping out when he told us. I can't handle that kind of stuff. -Oh, another "border" from that house, who has been arrested and jailed before for assault, is in jail again for a NUMBER of things, including rape and corrupting minors. Yikes. -We didn't learn pedicures yet, but we did do sculptured nails and tips with acrylic overlays. Woo. -On Wednesday, I'm getting my hair braided at the school. -I just downloaded a butt-load of Christmas songs to get in the spirit cuz I'm making a Christmas layout. 6:47 PM [link] ----------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, November 17, 2002 Were you ever like EXTREMELY irritable? Where even you annoy yourself to the point of gouging your OWN eye balls out?? I've been like that for a while now. I think there's something wrong with my nervous system, seriously. Anyway, I started beauty school this past week! It's pretty cool. We learned 10 finger manicures on the second day! =O I think this week we're going to be doing pedicures and then sculptured nails. Because...I watched this special about her on VH1 (speaking of which...does anybody else notice that VH1 is playing A LOT of MTV's shows? Are they running out of crap to show or what??) and I just became interested in her. She seems really cool...like we could hang out or something. And there is not like one bad picture of her, she's soooooo pretty. And not to mention skinny, but it's not an unhealthy skinny...it's a good skinny. I wish I could be that kind of skinny. =| Dang, I miss Brad. Lol. 12:31 AM [link] ----------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday, November 05, 2002 I went over to Brad's house today. His sister is sick (throwing up, etc.) so if I get it, I'm going to shoot him. Lol. His sister is awesome, though. Tomorrow, he and I (and possibly Katie) are going to go empty my checking and savings accounts and go shopping. I need a few things, lol. Hmm....I need a new layout.
